Please oh please don’t feed those damn raccoons!
Late in the night when people sleep
The moon is shining bright
Its time to feast well at least
For raccoons who own the night

Among the bats and creepy crawlers
The bandits come out to play
In garbage heaps they laugh and leap
As if it were mid day!

Yet when you wake
“ Goodness sake!
What a mess they make!”
madly picking trash ‘til noon
as bellies full they sleep away
Curse those damn raccoons!
